Grade 6 at K8 School aims at making learners independent and more  focussed on learning complex concepts. The curriculum at this level is structured to test high order thinking skills of learners who are by now equipped with the learning environment at K8. Grade 6 being the first level in our middle school focuses on creating a platform wherein learners can express, discover and develop their ideas and opinions.

The children at this age:

• are moving from concepts that are physically present to more abstract ideas and concepts;
• display roller-coaster of emotions and mood swings; both distress and happiness;
• begin to grow into close-knit groups and “group identity” comes into play. they resist physical affection from parents.
