Let’s move to the part where we share the admission process for you!
India’s Best Online School’s Admission Process
Step 1:- Checking the Age Eligibility
The first step of our school admission procedure is to check if a child/prospective student is eligible for a specific grade.
At K8 School, we understand that a child must reach the right age and should be developmentally prepared to join a specific grade and thrive comfortably with their peers in a class (virtual classes conducted by our online school).
To make the process more comprehensive, we have created an age-eligibility table with the upper limit of the permitted age (mandatory requirement) to address exceptional cases (like late admission, health issues, etc.).
You can also check these age eligibility details on this page.
| Grade | Age Eligibility | Mandatory Requirement |
| Nursery | 3 years plus | 3 years plus |
| KG | 4 years plus | Under 6 years |
| 1 | 5 years plus | Under 7 years |
| 2 | 6 years plus | Under 8 years |
| 3 | 7 years plus | Under 9 years |
| 4 | 8 years plus | Under 10 years |
| 5 | 9 years plus | Under 11 years |
| 6 | 10 years plus | Under 12 years |
| 7 | 11 years plus | Under 13 years |
| 8 | 12 years plus | Under 14 years |
Step 2:- Calculating a Prospective Student’s Age/Level
We calculate a child/prospective student’s age as per the child’s age on the first day of the academic year (i.e. 1st of April). Other than this, we also gauge the academic level of the student as per the status of the last class/grade (successful completion).
Parents/caregivers/guardians must produce valid evidence (mark sheet, progress report, etc.) of the previous grade completion before moving to the step of filling in the online school admission form (except KG and grade 1 admission).
To complete K8 School admission, parents/guardians need to submit a valid address ID proof, their child’s immunization record, and a disability certificate issued by a government authority (if applicable).
For all eligible prospective students, a detailed documentation process is mentioned on this page.
Please Note-
As per the school’s policy, the final decision of accepting or denying admission is taken by our admission committee.
Step 3:- Evaluation Test (Applicable in Exceptional Cases)
At India’s top online school, we wish to extend superior learning opportunities to more and more students. To serve the parents and students better, our admission committee considers an evaluation test for students who do not have valid academic documents (grade/class completion proof). This process is also followed in other exceptional cases, like mid-term admissions, school transfers, etc.
Parents can apply for K8 online school admission after the successful completion of the evaluation test. Please note that there is an additional non-refundable evaluation test fee (Rs. 4999) that parents need to pay for this step. You can visit this page for more details of our evaluation test.
Step 4:- Admission Form
Like other online schools admission, K8 School makes the admission process seamless and hassle-free. Once parents/guardians are convinced of the institution, they can visit the admission form page and verify their mobile number by generating a one-time password (by clicking on the Apply for Admission button).
Step 5:- Making Payment
Once you fill in all the details in the school admission form, the next step is to make the fee payment through one of the acceptable payment modes (Debit/Credit card or Online banking).
